1 1/2 C warm water 1 TBSP sugar 2 tsp salt 2 1/2 tsp yeast 4 1/2 c flour 2 oz melted butter Combine water, sugar, salt and yeast. Put flour in large mixing bowl, add yeast mixture and melted butter. Mix on low speed till dough comes together. Boost speed to medium for 4-5 minutes. Spray bowl with cooking spray. Put dough in and let rise for 1 hour. Roll out and form pretzels, spray with water and sprinkle with salt. 10 C water 2/3 c baking soda Dip pretzels in boiling mixture for 30 seconds, replace on parchment paper covered pan. For glossy finish use: 1 egg yolk 1 TBSP water For added saltiness you might want to sprinkle lightly with more salt or they aren’t very salty. Heat oven to 450 degrees and cook pretzels for 14 minutes, rotating them at 7 minutes.
